Hello squareheads!

Although we never were quite away, some of you may have been wondering where we were and what we were up to. The fact is, we were considering where to get some fresh blood for our moderating team, as CrinaPrida and weltengang will be a little bit less present (but not fully away

). Actually, I hope they will only be a very, very little bit less present, as it's too much fun to have them around.

However, we are also quite excited because scheinbar has agreed to join the moderator team.
Many, if not all, of you will know her for her excellent journals and news articles, that create daring and elegant bridges between the islands of good taste in ... well, in the dA galleries. Apart from her excellent taste and blogging talent, she's also both a painter and a photographer whom we love a lot, and she's been a big fan of SixbySix from its start. We hope that she's as happy with joining us as we are in welcoming her. Please, give a warm hand

For those to whom it may concern: we have changed the submission judging a bit. You need two "yes" votes to get in, but on the down site, two "no" votes are enough to refuse a submission.

The reason is that we hate refusing subs, as much as we want to keep your devlist high-class and tidy, so we share the burden a bit. Old hands know what we definitely don't like: cliché flower shots, blurry and pouty cellphone self portraits (note that it's a cell phone, not a self phone

), HDR shots (especially the psychedelic ones), cute kittens and puppies, and close ups of your shoes on the pavement. (Any brand of shoes.) Be original!
